small spotties

Post by stumped »

just wondering what ppl are running in the way of small lights on their rigs... i've got some lightforce 170s for the hard work, but am looking for something fairly small and cheap for closer and wider spread of light.

pic is of the bar that's being made (big ups to surfection  ), grey drawing is where the tube should be going, and orange/white being blinker and parkers. needs to be small enuf to fit in the gap that's left...

any ideas/pics/suppliers/cost??? much appreciated....

If your lights are roof mounted following may not be suitable... (too much spill)

Have you considered running one combo or dispersion filter on the passenger side on your 170's? Clip on or off in seconds plus combo retains distance as well as spread.

For close up and personal winching or crawling try a full dispersion that just floods soft light and won't blind your winch biatch so they fall in a hole stumbling back to vehicle...

narva have got some nice small lights at http://www.narva.com.au/ForwardLighting3.html

i'm wanting something for wide and closer, so i can see around corners on dirt roads etc, but the fog lights are only good for 'bout 20-25m... is that gonna be too short for "fast" driving?

the zook will do nose stands if i have lights that big on the front :D
wouldn't mind a set, but $$ and size is a bit of a problem. mate has em, they're better for seeing round corners than the 170s, but how much better? can't remember....

yeah, go the ones from Supercheap. $25 a pair, easy to mount and pretty strong for cheapies!! I will be needing a few of these in the future (read, 8-10  ) so maybe we hit them up for a Outerlimits discount :D
