ROCK IT 4X4 CHALLENGE.. 26th and 27th October.. at Janowen Hills 4WD Park. Between Toowoomba and Warwick QLD.
3 Classes ..
Standard - up to and including 33s no Lockers. No roll cages or winchs needed. For any Class.
Locked - up to and including 35s with Lockers.
Modified - up to and including 37s with Lockers etc.

$60 comp entry fee and normal park entry fees apply. You will also need to get 3rd Party insurance.

Also we are doing a night run, $10 entry and its a stick map, 1 car will leave every minute or so and you have to follow the map and find things and answer questions and hopefully if you follow the map correctly you will end up back at camp. Spectators are welcome to enter the tracks will be easy.. We will then divide the entry fee up into 1st , 2nd and 3rd place.. so bring a good torch.. its not part of the comp so you don't have to do it..

Round 3 is done and won.. Thanks again to all the competitors for putting on a show..and I would also like to thank all the spectators that came out to support there teams.. Probably one of the biggest spectator crowds we have had..a vocal crowd makes for an enjoyable weekend, it also seems to encourage more right foot... There was some good and not so good drives over the weekend, Matt Ryan and Scott Catlins pirouette in Mod class on track 1 was special to watch.. Will Dolan coping a face full of engine oil when Matt tried to restart wasnt..

First track of Locked class Jesse lines up and breaks a cv before the first point marker, OK get the 2nd car Steve Turner he strips teeth of his rear diff at the same spot.. I'm thinking we are of to a great start, imagine how these guys are feeling, its the first track and there broken.. But after calling on some mates they were both back up and running in no time and finished the weekend..
.
We had a good turn out in standard class with a mixed bag of cars and 2 ladies giving the boys a run for there money.. Jemma Grant blew a tyre on track 4 meaning she lost valuable points for not finishing the track and Alison Geatches Gradwell drive on the last track was memorable. Big shout out to Terry and his son Ridge Sleep who drive all the way down from Rockhampton and have done all year to compete..
.
Thanks also to Ben Taylor Kent Hislop and Georgie for organizing the night run stick map.. Some did OK some not so good, but thats the name of the game..
.
A massive Thanks to all the marshals that helped out, It cant be done without these people putting in there own time for nothing more than a pat on the back.Leigh George Howard, Adam Selby, Will Dolan, Ashton Neale, James Amanda McFarlane, Geoff Carter and his boys, Wade Beveridge and his shaved legs, Alex Freeman, Josh Geatches, Dale Pyritz and Calum, Trent Nicholson, and my favorite Justin White.
