Hi all has anyone put a th400 behind a 1fzfe

Biggest problem I encountered when I wanted to put GM box behind 12ht was that Marks, Dellows etc are only interested and only make adaptors etc to fit aftermarket (different brand) motors to original gearboxes. They are in no way interested in different brand gearboxes to original motors. you need a gearbox to bellhousing adaptor plate or an engine to bellhousing adaptor plate. Both come with thier own sets of required mods.

Yea that's it might have to make our own plate or bellhousing

Look at ultra bells - they rely on cutting the bell housing off the auto and bolting to the front pump. Should be easy enough to use the 1fz bell and a laser cut or machined plate of the appropriate thickness
