Personally good on you for getting another road registered event happening, stuff the unregoed cars they have enough competitions to compete in, just cause it's a comp doesn't mean you automatically have to cater for unrego!!!
See how my circumstances are travelling, you may see me down there in the outlaw class along side 'nis50'.
Oh and before you all continue to bag out 'ravenute' and say "don't like it, don't come" how about you ask him what he does for a living.... Insurance assessor... He raised those points for a reason = he knows his shit!

Open Class: Max of a 37" tyre and up 6" lift. Dual diff lock and factory suspension mounts. Aftermarket HD arms ok. Helmets are required.
Im running stock leaf springs front and rear, but dropped front hanger(not factory hanger). Only 2inch body lift.
Looks like my first comp will be Outlaw.

From what I am hearing many of the Canberra cars are looking at dropping rego and Willowglen numbers are dropping fast. Down this way we can buy 3 months rego, and let it lapse till the following years events but the $270 or so ontop of entry makes it a steep weekend, even if its local for us.
If this event was within 3 months of Willowglen, then the trucks that are dropping out of rego may have the incentive to rego and stick to both the rego and non rego events.
Last year I was keen, but the extra $270 ontop of fuel for tow car and entry fee meant I didnt bother..
I honestly think if it was within 3 months of Willowglen you will get 2 or 3 clubs worth of entries from down here..
We are curently making sure all the box's are ticked befor our first club meeting 3rd week in feb, at this meeting working bee's will be set, and all other matters finalised. Untill that date itl be pretty quiet from our end. Sorry i havent got anymore exciteing news.

if they're as lenient as they were at mudgee youl be fine. its more to keep leaf sprung cars with coil conversions in outlaw. even though they didn't do that either.. aye brad
the 37'rule are you going off the side wall of the tyre or the diameter as my 38' boggers will put me into outlaw class when they fit into the willowglen ruling for 37' tyres

Im really looking forward to bringing my 80 down and competing in my 1st comp in a long time looking to seeing how the big girl goes as I never got the chance last year to go and very keen to drive some old Nissan trials tracks either in modified class or open class but most likely modified class depending if I pull my finger out to get it into open class
Yes unfortunatly we only have use of half of the colo property for this event due to the rally school having priorty and use of their track every weekend of the year. There still will be atleast one of the old trials tracks to be used, and a couple of the old locations redesigned to suit our event needs. Plus some totally new creations to play on. Meeting is tonight so there will be more info real soon.

After a productive first meeting of the year some final dessions have been made.
On all fours is proud to welcome onboard Penrith Offroad Warehouse the woodpecker challenge major sponser, we hope to have a long relationship with Penrith Offroad Warehouse for many year to come. And in saying that your support to this ever growing bussiness will show them just how much the 4wd comunity appreciates their support of the comp scene.
We have planned a woking bee on 8-9 march at the comp site so any club members that may have intrest in giving us a hand prior to the comp or on the comp weekend please private msg me for further info. A big thankyou to coalfields and kamikaze clubs for there upfront commitment to helping out.
All insurance has been finalised and totally approved for this event. Thanks to corey for puting in the hard yard to make sure the cover was exactly what was asked for and needed.
One change that has been instated since our last comp is that now OPEN class as well as OUTLAW class must have helmet for the driver and no passangers are to be in the vehicle during on track driveing (competing) for these two classes. All other classes standard rules apply as at our previous comps.
Tyre size will go of what the sidewall says (no exception). And as jamie allways says we arnt playing for sheep stations this is a family friendly comp.
More info to come soon, chris

We have been busy up at Sorra over the past few weekends, track work has started also clearing the camping grounds. We will be making quite a few new tracks so it will be new to drive for everyone. The guys from penrith off road warehouse test drove one of the old nissan trails tracks that we will be using on the weekend. We also created a bit of a rock garden and brought back the sea saw from J7. Entry forms are now available so if you would like to attend please make contact for them to be sent out.
Not far off now. Just a reminder to get your entries in (really soon if u want a shirt) as cut off isnt far away. There is still plenty of room left in the standard and modified class's and with $15000 worth of prizes up for grabs u be crazy to miss out! Been plenty of action up at sorra with most of the tracks all sorted and the sites and services coming together nicely. The saturday night event is starting to look awesome with one our old favorite tracks getting a revamp and some add ons to keep it intresting and spectator friendly. This track will b done on the sat by the standard and modified and then lit up on sat night so the open and outlaw can have there go. Just a reminder also that we r puting a limit on spectator camping so pre booking is now esential. Hurry up all u last minute types and get that paper work moving!!
