looking at acrylic paint 4l white at $100, colours at $150. but apparantly need to buff afterwards to get any decent shine. bugger that for a lark
then have synthetic enamel at $60 2l, $90 3l. guy reckons dont need to buff comes off gloss from the gun. he said prob 2l for my car
this does not include thinners, which range from $16 syn enamel to $22 for acrylic. then associated extras like masking, wet n dry etc
....so what do people reckon???? and, how hard is it for novice to set up gun for good result??????? so i go for red again (easy), white (less noticeable marks and cheaper) or another colour?
area54, paint job doesnt need to be bling bling, just bearable (as in, not complete shit
also, can load any colour into aerosol for $11. bargain
Anyhow it should come up good, just rub it back really well and start very light mist coats
