Camber Correction Kit

Post by scratched record »

Howdy

Had some work done and the "mechanic" reckons I need a camber correction kit. The symptons are that when I drive along on a flat road the steering tracks straight but if the road has camber to the left the steering wheel is between 10 to 20 degrees off centre to the right.

Is this something that can get adjusted through a wheel alignment or is this kit the way to go.

Cheers

ps it would help I've a 75 series ute

Not really, replaced the std suspension with ironman spring and monroe shocks and I think I may have got an extra 30 - 50mm, but that ws never measured though

What vehicle?
Camber can only be adjusted on IFS, unless offset bearings are used.

I've seen these camber kits. But they run a smaller pivot bearing. All they do is make a small adjustment to compensate for a slightly bent diff housing.
