Need to know legalities of using 5 to 10mm steel spacer plates on top of strut mounts to trim a vehicle.
This will equate to 10 to 20mm approx at wheel.
Some times a strut (Hilux, Ranger, Triton, 200 series etc) needs a trim after kit fitment.
I know large spacers are frowned on but what about 5 to 10mm to trim for dual bats, or other issues?

No idea on the legality ... but a small one done properly shouldn't be an issue ... I recall ARB using small packers on coils to level out fitment.

Coil trim packers are ok. Its where you physically put a spacer between a strut and the body where its questionable.
