hilux with bundera coil front end

Post by gerg »

I was reading an old issue of 4wd monthly and saw a hilux that had SAS with Bundera coil front end. Running standard hilux leaf springs in the rear with coils between the chasis and leaf packs.

Any thoughts, opinions about a setup like this - good or bad? I know most guys doing SAS are running hilux front diffs with leaf spring setup.

the coils in the rear are datsun 120 and only added for lift, whay go to all that trouble and not spend an extra 300 odd bucks on a good set of leaves?

how hard compared to a SAS using leafs would it be to transplant the bundera front end in?
Cheers,
