Flex coupling thing
Has anyone every had to replace the flex coupleing thing on the steering shaft before. Just wondering how much they where and where did you gtet it from. As I broke mine while out driving today.

should of read this first. yeah thats what i did the first time i went out with rob and i got trailered home. $35 from halls or i got a bit of sheet metal and made a reinforcing plate for about a week b4 i could get one

yeah easy, just separate the 2 halves and trace the rubber and cut out on some sheet metal say 1mm thick bolt it up with the rubber and pop it back in. i did get a replacement but i carry the otherone just in case

Yep, broke it on the first trip after the body lift (the joint obviously didn't slide well on the shaft when I did the lift). Booty fab at the time was some fencing wire wrapped tight around the joint, but I picked a replacement up at the wreckers fairly quickly. It was a wrecker in Bennetts Green for about $30 I think.
