has anybody used these for the front of their lux without any trouble cuase im thinking about it Ive got a dropped crossmember with spring hangers in front and shackle mounts welded under the frame and these are the right length closed,(slightly longer than standard), to keep the geometry right.

dude i dunno how they wood go an a lux rear of the front springs on a lux i think if u got the right spring pax yeah 4 sure but the onther thing 2 look out 4 is they amount of travel u will gain in the front shaft, and also is the steerin gunna handle a climax up front.
but i have heard of the yanks runnin the revolvers up front with excellent results so i guess that i climax will be similar it will just bind up quicker than than a revolver

u dont need histeer only crossover and u r able 2 remove the torque bar and it wont do anything stupid.
i ran mine 4 3 months with j-arm steerin and the torque bar removed with absolutely not effect in handling ewen under hard brakes with soft springs

landcruisers come factory with no torque arm and crossover steering, same front caster, so why doesnt the castor on them go wild under hard braking?

Becuase landcrusiers are not shackle reversed, so under brakes they dont get as bigger change in caster. Aslo under brakes with a shackle at the rear weight transfer is more pronounced as the front wheels moves backwards under compression. blah blah

Shackles are in the front of suzi.
Do a Spring over and shackle reversal on a Cruiser then it'll be like a hilux.

ive got soft springs and soft shocks, spring over, dropped front hanger, shackle reversal.......
i think wendle is right when he says:
"The castor still changes but the draglink/pitman isn't being pulled by the castor change cause it no longer perpendicular to the axle like the j-arm setup is. The direction of the draglink is what causes the brake-steer, not the castor change."
and therefore the crossover steering setup which i have installed is far and above the stock junk!

ive done a shackle reversal on my lux just like the cruizers and absolutely love the setup
