I made one out of 4mm aluminium checkerplate. I took the tank out cut the plate to size and bent it up to suit the shape and mounting points on the tank. It is strong enough that i can jack the zook up off it. It has also taken some big tailslides off rocks lately that would have punched holes in the tank and all i got were a few scratches. :D Ally easy to work with, no welding, light and looks good to.

If you can see it in the pic i had one fitted to my zook not a real god pic of it but it worked a treat 3mm mild steel bought it from metrocheck automotive ( now climax suspensions) dont think he duz them any more although im sure the company that did make em prob still do .....maybe give dino a call and find out there number is in 4wd monthly...................

It only sacrificed prob bout 20mm clearance at the back mounted to the original tank mount bolts i had dings in the the actual guard where id came down hard on rocks and shite but neva got any damage to the tank cant remember the cost
