OK,
What have people done in holding non standard tyre/rims on the zook. Sierra in question. Don't really want it in the back and the roof is way too high as mine is also a hightop.
What will the stock Hard Top holder carry in size? I know limitations are in the bumper position but ???
Looking at 31's for the zook and if they will fit on but also for the future.

i.e. i don't carry a spare tyre.

A smallish 33 will fit on a hardtop tyre carrier .. I had a BFG 32 on there for ages...

NAM had his spare 34" jungle trekker mounted to the floor in the back of his hardtop - looked very neat and you could easily make a little shelf to sit over the top of it so that the back of the car is still useable.
That would be nicer than having it on the back door because it would keep the weight lower, and at least partially infront of the rear axel.

Not terribly practical for a daily driver though .. some people use their Zuks 7 days a week ... and as most people already know there is only a limited amount of cargo space in a sierra ..
The question was will a 31 and bigger fit on the back door .. the answer is yes so will a 32 and you could probarbly squeeze a smallish 33 on there ..
The "best" spot for it would be on the floor in the back ... (bolted down securely of course) along with your recovery gear ..

That's exactly where my spare tyre is,between the wheel arches in the back,I have put a board that is the exact size of the area across the top and it slides under the compressor on the wheel arch on the left side so it doesn't move around,I don't have a back seat for it and have no need for one.The tyre is also bolted on to the original holder from the tailgate which is bolted to the floor.
