8000 Highmount

I have been offered a 8000 highmount winch from a mate , He wants $1600 for it , it is one of the first higmounts warn brought out so it is an older winch but it has been worked by Mal Leslie , just wondering if you guys think this is a reasonable price or not?

got mine for 900 with bar.

Seen em on ebay from 600

seen em in tradin post for 900 ish.

Seen em around for 1000 ish

1600 is the highest ive seen so far (your post)

BUT like you said.. its been done up by mal leslie.

yeah , i think its a little pricy. I bought mine for 500 and a slab of jim beam. Ive spent 300 and its like new. shane....

New are worth $2400 MAL LESLE REBUILDS range up to $900 but i sold one for $1500 with spare 2.5hp motor.
