OBX Monarco aftermarket seats

Post by auto_eng »

Has anyone put a set of these in their car?

The seats are shagged in my RR and I was going to buy a set of these or something similar. Can sit in a pair to check as the company is in Melb so thought I would ask if anyone has put a set in their car and if so are they a comfortable seat?

Below is a link to them on ebay

Cheers

Hey Auto,
Only thing I would watch out for is the side bolstering. I just recently got a paratus rally seat for my gq ute and was advised to get lower bolstering than normal for the lower portion of the seat.

I am very glad I did as it would make it a nightmare to get in and out of otherwise. Those seats you mention seem to have very high(good) side bolsters and may make getting in and out hard.

Also depends on vehicle and your size I guess.

The same company was selling a similar seat a couple of weeks ago with less side balstering and without the harness pass through section for the lap part of the harness.

They may be a better option?? Good point.
