Coilly 3" body lift
Coilly 3" body lift
Hi all
I am looking into the snake racing SJ80 3" bodylift.
I have been told a few ppl in hear have been exposed to this product.
Is the lift kit any good?
Is a 3" bodylift too high for the coillies?
Anything to look out for whilst installing?
or any other comments on this subject would be appreciated.

Two week old zook, no mods, no 4x4 experience.
Car before suzuki was Twin cam GT Celica, so all I knew was press hard on the loud pedal.
Tried to go up very steep track with a boulder protruding at very top. Gave it a go got to top just did a burn out on top on boulder.
Gave it another go with lots of speed cause thats how noobies get up things........did a wheelie and fell onto its side and slipped down the track.
$9000+ and seven weeks later (thanks NRMA) it was fixed.

its alot less hassle than than cutting the studs out for a 2 inch body lift
3 inch is good the rear plastic bumber neeeds no modds, um get rid of the front bumper it looks heaps tougher
i did the whole body lift with just the standard little jack that comes with the car.
the gear leaver needs alittle bit of straightening and the transfer needs to be bent slightly to allow to it to go in 4 low.
other thn that its all in the kit.
if you do decide to do it, just look at all the wires and cables and watch them for tention.
make shaw you undo the handbrake bracket and the hosesthat connect to the air box. also undoo the fuel filler and take off the filler guard

With the 2" lift
U dont cut the studs out u just wind the nut up till it reaches the shank on the bolt then cut off the thread hangin out under the nut .......hey presto done ( too easy with a cut off wheel on a grinder )
But everyone has there preference 2 " - 3" all comes down to wat u r tryin to acomplish..........tyre clearance / tuff look / or something that will fall over
