"Bolt on" five links for gq's

Post by fatassgq »

Just looking through the post about sway bars and saw wizards gu with what looks to be a reasonably bolt in five link that he makes/sells. (very cool looking truck that is for sure!!!!)

Can anyone give me any info or more pics on some of the other ones available? Are any known to be better than others? And for what reason.
I think mannel have one (likely to be wizards????) and calbah do one also.

It is hard to see from the angle and I may be missing something but I cant figure out how it compresses without the lower arm hitting on the top mount.......???????
What would be the pro/cons of one of these as I would look at a bolt on one but would not go near a weld in one at this stage with my current truck.

Are there any major drawbacks to having one. I see that puting a swaybar on it is reasonably easy to.

Any info or pics especially would be great

Cheers

Mannells make their own. AND it is non adjustable. (think for 5 inch lift???) - from what i was told by a mate who got a kit from them.

Wizards - when i checked out their truck recently - i believe its a full adjustable 5 link - thou i could be wrong.

Calbah - not sure about em

Heard good things about wizard 5 links. Bout all i know as Im not really down that avenue yet.

But i do know that havin a 5 link - changes the way your car feels on the road.. not as 'firm' etc.. bit more body roll :?:
