std length shackles for bj42

a mate of mine has a bj42 with extended shackles, unfortunatelt it isn't registered yet but he's gunna make some standard length shackles to help get it through rwc but we haven't been able to find out anywhere how long they were out of the factory? can anyone point me in the right direction?

check any cruiser from 1980 to 1989 they are all pretty similar. if they are not too huge they wont notice anyways, unless he paints them bright colours.
hands and mums dont count!!!

I allways thought they were the same legnth f and r. but their you go just when you think you know everything about the old cruisers u find that you don't :armsup:

thanks for that guys, I guess I should ask if the measurement is from the centre to centre of the pin, or actaul shackle length.
