big rubber for a little truck
big rubber for a little truck
Hello guys, I have a friend that wants to run 34 inch jungle trekkers on his late 80's suzuki sierra is this possable without serious modifications.
no mods needed if you sacrifice suspension travel, with very, very long bumpstops, and lose some steering lock.
A 50mm body lift is cheap and simple, that would go a long way to making it possible, then longer shackles with bumpstops extended if needed. Offset rims will help with steering lock, and stability. christover

Define what serious modifications are?
You will need to regear, whether diff gears (5:12s) or a set of t/case gears 6:1.
You will need to move the front axle forward if you stay SPUA or you will need to do a spoa.
If you stay SPUA you will need to do some fender trimming.
A Zuk with 34s is doable, we have at least 4 cars in our club running 34s but there is a fair bit of work required to make them fit and work properly
