I have the BFG MT 33 x 10.50 x 15. Great tyre for my needs as they fit the factory 7" rim and sit nicely under the patrol. They are a difficult tyre to get. They are around but for some strange reason Townsville seems to have most of them. When i ordered mine there were 2 in Melbourne and the only other place that had them were Townsville and a mate who bought them about 18 months before had the same problem.

I paid about $275 per tyre

I was told $275 for the BFG M/T in Melbourne and they were available the other week when I enquired.

Run BFG 33x10.5x15 AT's . Had no probs with them. good that they fit standard rims. Did Cape York last year with ease. Except for a sharp piece of steel left on the road outside Weipa supermarket .F%&#

As other have said BFG MT and BFG AT (I have the AT). The only other road legal equivalent I could find is Simex ET 32x9.5 (which I also have) also I think available 32x10.5 but the 9.5 seems wide enough to me. The 32 is spot on the same size as my BFGs.

If you find any other speed rated 33's legally fitted to a 7" rim let me know. Though I am very happy with my ATs as my daily tyre.

Don't know about supply problems - just rang a shop in Canberra and they were there in a couple of days. I think I paid $1083 (club price) for 4 fitted including balancing and a wheel alignment, so a little under $270 each I guess.

cheers
