Xtreme Winch Challenge Round 3


Date:- 25th - 27th June

Venue:- Pappinbarra (appox 18kms from Beechwood Hotel on the Pappinbarra road)

Spectators:- $15 per adult per day & if you want to camp there is a $10 per vehicle charge for the weekend. Toilets but no showers on site. Food & soft drinks available. BYO grog, please bring cans only!!!! NO DOGS.
There will be 10 SS run over the weekend. 3 Friday night starting at 1800hrs, 5 Saturday & 2 Sunday both days atarting at 0800hrs. Last competitor will run at 1400hrs & presentation will be at 1500hrs.

Entrants:- $280 entry fee includes breakfast both days & dinner Saturday night for driver & codriver. (open to 35 entrants) Entries close 15th June.

Trophies:- ARB product & trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd outright. Class trophies & competitor trophies.

Hi again, I head off to set up for Round 3 tomorrow. The last Round of the Series has a full field of 35 entrants. My contact will be mobile & email only. Mobiles 0418 745 830 & if that fails try my CDMA phone 0427 745 830 & if that fails SORRY.

Just a quick note, make sure you have packed some cold weather gear, we have had a couple of frosts this week, days have been very pleasant if you are in the sun.

Just to fill in spectators, the SS that have been set are great, 2 of the 3 SS Friday night, 4 of 5 Saturday & the 2 planed for Sunday have great spectator access. All are within a couple of hundred meters of each other.

Just got back from end of eventwind down dinner. Just a very quick one, Thanks to all the officials, sponsors, competitors & spectators for making Round 3 run so smoothly it was I thing a dream event. It made a great finish to a Series.

I will post full results for Series & Round on my return'

Congratulations to everyone involved in the Round & Series.

Unfortunately I didn't get too trigger snap happy. Only took about 15 pics.
