Does anyone know if the seats from a 98 hilux will bolt staight in to a 86 SR5 Extra Cab?

they should fit in. I bolted a set of 93 surf seats into my old 84 extra cab with no hassles. Why not just measure up the seat mounts to find out if they are the same. If they arent spot on, maybe just a sparrows farts difference you might just be able to use a knockometer to bash the mounts to suit

no, the floor pan changes the 10/97


anything 84 up until then, yes. altho you may need to drill a whole for the back left on the drivers and passangers seat if you are going to buckets (closest to tunnel)
