Urgent - VIN Location on GQ SWB

I have a Maverick XLT and I need to find the VIN location on the chassis. I want to confirm it with the plate in the bonnet.

chassis number is stapmed on the front left hand side chassis member, adjacent to the radiator

i have a nissan patrol ST

but both our 4x4 comes under the one manual petral engines 1988-1997

but i will look pysically

passenger side in engine bay on top of chassis, probably covered over by dirt. Should be there ??
