Rewire assistance

Well we all have our limits and mine is electrics.

Can anyone assist me on a rewire of my rangie. I have put in a 3.9 efi motor for now and need some help doing the wiring, I would be happy to swap labour/beer/bourbon and/or cash but don't want to spend 2.5k to get it done. Besides I don't learn anything that way either.

If anyone can help pls let me know. I am in e/s melb.

Thanks Tom, yes i have, the problem lies in the fact that the car has so many extra wires from the old owner (had a chev in it) that i'm lost.

In stock form i have no problems, just lost with all this extra wiring and need to sort out everyting at once.

Do you have the LandRover service books?

When i was Un wiring my 3.9 efi they came in very handy

I could scan / photocopy some pages for you if you know how to read the wiring diagrams?

Hey Ben,

I'm no auto-elec, but I do work in electronics and I've got the Haynes circuit diagrams, so I might be able to help to a certain degree.

I'd give it a shot for you if interested?
I take it it's Lockee's old rangie?

If you're in Brisbane, I'll swap you wiring assistance with yours (I'm an electrical engineer) for some mechanical assistance with mine :D
