G'day all,
I'm in the market for a new truck in the next few months, and am tossing up between a 60 and GQ, preferably the 60 I think.
I'm after some general spec on what would be available, engine, trans combinations etc, and what I should be looking for or wary of....ie. is the TD available in a normal wagon, or only the higher roof type Sahara's?
Can the 60's be built to flex fairly well, while still maintaining reasonable touring manners? I'm going from a newish IFS Lux, so anything with a SFA is going to be an upwards step in this regard I guess
also...on the suspension topic...any Melbourne contacts for suspension work to suit the above would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Boopa

you can get turbo diesel 60s without highroof and dont have to be gxl which is later model 60 with electric windows and mirrors etc, they had turbo diesel in the g-pack 60s as well.
Can get 60s flexing alright and mantain drivability for touring, plus 60s are like driving racing cars compared to a lifted gq which feels like its going to tip every corner.
the worst problem with the 60 is the arse end which can bog you down but twin locked with some lift and muddies a 60 is a very capable comfortable rig
