Electronic Corrosion Protection

Post by JK »

Now that I have relocated to the Illawarra and the Qee is spenidng a lot of time in a salty air, I am getting more than a little nervous about the red cancer.

I am looking for guidance, feedback, recommendations on rust prevention and am favouring electronic corrosion protection systems at the moment.

Trolling thru the latest 4wd monthly mag I found the following systems:

ERPS (Electronic Rust Prevention Systems)

and

CouplerTec (formerly CounterAct)

Anyone have any experience with these systems?

Is it difficult to install them in a home workshop or is it worth the extra $$$ for the professional install?

Cheers, JK
