getting a bash plate made for my petrol tank. It will bolt up to the standard tank mounts and is made of 10 guage sheet steel. will see what it costs and how it fits and if anyone is interested i can get some more made. I pick it up tomorrow. Its to cover a standard petrol tank.

i think all suzuki owners should be interested

as if they havnt dinted there tank yet its only a matter of time.

mine only holds 25 litres tops. it's got a pretty good bash plate on it now, i'll get some pics tomorrow if i remember

Mine is the stock original tank and still holds all 40 litres. The joys of a lwb ute, the tank is tucked in nicely behind the cab in front of the rear diff :finger:

haven't got any dents in mine yet :D and i've driven everything layton's driven that i know of :twisted:

i've got a big chunk of steel for the towbar that mostly protects it without sacrificing clearance tho.

so have ya picked up the bashplate? how's it fit? how much $$?

picked up the plate this arvo but dont have a price as yet coz boss was out. Will get price hopefully tomorrow. Plate is made of 3mm thick plate and looks as strong as and should only loose about 20mm in clearance. will install it over the weekend.

take ya tank into any sheet metal place and they should be able to make one for a coiler. no price as yet but its comming
