I am desiring the offset rear output of a bundera or landcruiser transfer case.
Anyone know how much work is involved in fitting one up to lux, whether they share same input shaft, how ratios compare?
Thanks,
Josh.

bundy t/case into Hilux

I had a cruiser 5 speed and transfer (transfer same as Bundy) in my early Hilux and the probs i had were the front drive shaft ends up real short and the rear drive shaft runs under the fuel tank and hits it if its not lifted. Had to weld in a new tunnel section of the floor pan to clear the wide transfer and to get the shifters out in the right place.

Thanks for info Wally... fuel tank already relocated to LHS and front diff is forward a few inches.
Can the existing t/case crossmember be used, and is the trans tunnel a big job? I have no b/l by the way.
I am only considerng going down this track if I get lots of vibes from my weird tailshaft angle to cruiser rear diff, which I will know shortly.
