I'm trying to get the axles out but I don't have a slide hammer :?

Also the diff is on the bench because the wt's are being prepared for installation so I can't use the wheel as a big slide hammer of sorts :?

Any ideas cause I'm gettin frustrated :x Glad I have my beer fridge, my old friend

dont bother with the slide hammer. just remove the brake drum and slide the backing plate back and forth with considerable force to bash the hub out and release the axle. dont worry it wont cause any damage to the backing plate. the axles arent stuck in that hard.

otherwise get a big sledge and hit the backing plate - that shoule dislodge it.

Are you sure you want that sort of quaility engineering on your rig. ;)
