bad angles

Post by lil86 »

hey guys, i just installed some 2inch OME springs into my LN65 and some wierd shit has happened. the front is flexing well enough to require longer brake lines wen i put longer shocks on but the back is creating dramas. the rear shackle is on a foreward angle at resting height???? which means i have nexto no drop. i've already taken out the load springs should i be looking at taking out more springs?? or mabe a longer main spring, mq rear looks nice and long. bump stop to chassis is about 170mm, that sounds like more than 2 inch lift.
anyone got any ideas??

I'd only be having a guess but it sounds like the leaf is too short, like the wrong one for a ln65. When I put lifted springs in mine, the packs were 2 different heights and it took a while to prove to the supplier that it wasn't my error in installation, it was a manufacturing problem.

nah the springs are the right ones, bought them second hand off the same model. only thing i can think of is its too light in the arse for them. only gota dual cab alloy tray and steel rollbar on the back.

is the rear higher than the front
if so bring your shackle mount forward intill the leafs start to sag

When leafs are new they are stiff and won`t sag for a bit but if you want your shackle on an angle bring the mount forward abit but this will reduce your hight a fraction

are you sure you have them in the right way round you might have to spin them 180 degrees
