adrian and i had this grand master plan to "drop" of the ledge in a hard right to avoid using a reverse and the spotters strap, you can tell it all went to plan.

I think jamies ended up the worst off, adrain did some panel and a rear diff, ruff did a rear diff, sam a ball joint, rod a winch and a tyre, sam K a head, so really nothing to major all round.

as far as im aware only 5 rigs passed the last checkpoint on the last stage, tony, trailcraft, rod, beebee and gonads, does this mean the rest of the rigs were unable to compete?

First of all i would like to congratulate Adrian, Sam and the entire HTE crew on providing us with the greatest 4wd competition in Australia, there commitment and pure professionalism portrayed in this event is to be commended and applauded, along with Hans and Heidi from Rover Park. The competition structure was not only a success but a display on how the direction of competitive 4wding is heading. I was impressed with the level of professionalism shown by the officials, they were on the ball constantly, well done mick and jamie.

Also to the spectators and the guys on here who supported us competitors, you made the event all the more fun. The cheers of support made us push it even harder. From speaking to as many in the crowd as i could the feedback was encouraging, i was looking forward to meeting a few more OL people but i had to get my beauty sleep ( both BeeBee and myself had just on 12hours sleep in 6 days, and none on friday night).

Big thanks to Dave for having me as a spotter, hope we can do a little better next time and try and keep these buggies honest (gotta stop sam building new buggys - they always win). As the scores go, when we are reliable we can be really competitive, but damn it is hard work trying to keep up with adrian, sam, tony, and rod they are all such good drivers!

Well done Tony, i told you last week that you were going to win!

Once again thanks guys for all your hard work!

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO DAMIEN AND CHRIS FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT THEY PROVIDED US WITH.

ALL OF US HERE AT ROVER PARK WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU AGAIN AND HAVE YOU ALL CONSIDER THIS PLACE AS YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

HUGE THANX TO SAM AND ADRIAN FOR MAKING IT ALL HAPPEN.
:) :) :) :) :) :) :D :D :D :D :D :D

To Rover Park,
Welcome aboard :)
I would like to give a huge thank you for all your hospitality on sunday night  exspecially for the Chicken pattys, they were a great treat and something different ( i had eaten about 12 suasages by the time i got one of them pattys into me)

To everyone,
Event was great abit dissapointed I missed the first day, thanks to the fella (sorry wasnt sure who it was) who gave us a great rundown on what went on and the descriptions on the rollovers for the first day. I hadnt had any sleep saturday night (got home from surfers at 4:42am and we left just after 5) I was pretty much stuffed and after most the coronas on sunday I was in my car asleep by 7 sunday night
Did a bit of exploring on monday to check out rover park on a whole and its a great place, reccomend it to anyone who is considering a nice holiday and exspecially if you enjoy veiwing wildlife... it unbeleivable how many kangaroos, rockwallabys, frillneck lizards, & birds you see. I had a great sunday and monday away there and will be back sometime later in the year for sure, just gotta remember to take the golf clubs and shiznit :D

Ow and my car DIDNT break, but my ball joint has worked its way fairly loose and I nearlylost the rear drivers side linkage (chassis bolt had worked its way loose  ) also I thought i broke my custom temp nissan shock in the same rear end but it was just a loose bolt too :D

Vid looks good Antt....... I cant wait for a full length production vid, and the next Outerlimits Organised 4by event.........IT WAS AWSOME

Well done Boys....... & Girls

Awesome event guys. Saw a bit of Saturday's events and highlight was seeing the look on X Factors face as Mooneys cruiser was coming straight for him. I guess its a unique way to park in the pits.

DirtPigs,
You should be proud of yourself mate you were the most calm and collected spotter there, I herd quiet afew people mention how gooder job you did and I myself was talking with a fella on sunday and he mentioned it aswell. Well done mate.
To bad them heim joints wernt working as well as you both.

Tony (RUFF),
Well fawkin done mate, Congrates on the win  The Budgie Raaawks :D

All the other spectators I meet there on sunday were great, nicest people I have ever meet in a long time, I had afew short convos with people who would just stop and chat whilst walking past.... I even spoke with one fella about cameras and shit :? and I mean he just come over and started chatting....
The sausages were exelent (went down well with my Coronas).

Dave (Beebee),
Mate I mist Saturdays action but goin by your awsome performance on sunday man I think you deserve a shitload of credit for bein there and able to compete in the last stage  I had afew people next to me that were pretty convinced you would not get up that step up in the last stage, I said to one fella he will be up there soon I got the camera ready than all of a sudden boom you were past half way and made it look easy.

The atmosphere was farkin awsome, when Rod rolled it after his rear wheel was climbing that tree i think everyone in the crowd was all hyped up, I LOVED IT

Cant wait till next time :)

AnthonyP... thanks mate. I had a ball and was starting to really feel comfy with on Sunday. Jamie's precise driving and 100% focus on me as spotter made it that much easier.

I can say that I didn't feel too calm when we were competing the brain was working overtime. What a buzz :D  Yup the buggy just needs some strengthening in some critical areas to make it more reliable and it will be right up there.

Gotta love that whizz PSSSHHT
