Can't comment, except to say its a Jeep, so you know you should get it.

Perhaps head to the Grand forum at www.ausjeepoffroad.com, no doubt you'll get more of a response!
Apparently people think I'm too patronising (that means I treat them like they’re stupid).

i could be wrong.

injuries? stress fracture?
i have NFI, i had a ZJ with tow bar on it, but i didnt tow bugger all during the time that i had it..

Nrma rates them at 1750kg tow limit, Zook on a car trailer Proble around 1600 kg
Geez they have some gadgets on em, electric every thing ,
Had ahunt around the net seems they are prone to cracking around the steering box , and the trnsfers can have a binding problem , constant four wheel or somthing.

Need somthing with a decent tow rate ,

same Andy just like to know a bit more about them,

Bilsta was it an auto ?

Or... if you could stretch it to a 2003 GC Laredo CRD, then you can tow 3,600kg (braked). The blurb you see in all the rags quote 3,200 up to 3,500 - but my Mopar rear bar has 3,600kg stamped on it.

Dozor - you'll run out of power before the Grand towbar cracks. Word to the wise. If your going to tow, keep the origional wheel tyre size on. Anything approaching 30" tyres and it will complain about the gearing.

Otherwise, it's a Grand thing to tow with! If'n you want more capacity, look at the XJ Chreokee in a Limited. Nice Jeep also and cheaper than the Grand.

And look for a LPG converted model as well....they're thirst critters when loaded.
