go to a petrol or keep the diesel

Post by cruiserkid »

i have a bj70 landcruiser with a 3b diesel with a t3 garret turbo on it.
i am thinking about putting a 3.8 litre vt commondore motor in and either turboing it or supercharging it.
i want enough power to turn 35's.
what should i do? :?:

I'll answer - depends what you want
Get up and go or low down torque
I'm a diesal man
But decide that and your sweet
Either's good for offroad work - Just diesal's won't die on ya
got 420000kms on my clock and the old 2H is still goin'
I doubt a petty would
You can't kill a 60... Believe me... I've tried...
In the end, you can... drive a gu now... still want a 60

Leave the motor alone and change the transfer case gears.

i'm confused. You already have more than enough power to turn 35" tyres. I don't see any problem with your current setup.
