Jimny front Hub lock

Post by roundcruiser »

Hi there
I am looking at installing a switch on the little truck to disable froint vac hub lock for some heavy yard work in low range. Has anyone done that before and could give us some advice?
Cheers

No expert, but there is a tap-turn switch (well shit, I don't know what they are really called, Im just a girl  ) you can get from Tandy that sits on your vac hose. You can run it to one of those aviation switches on your dash. Our techs use them for vacuum systems for alarmed airlocks.

very easy.

1) cut the two wires that comes out from the 4wd switch in the front of the t/case
2) put an electrical switch on your dash
3) connect the wires to the switch
