Why is this funny....???

It is a valid question

There are some comps that dont allow you to alter wheelbase AFAIK, eg Outback challange from memory.

The question would have to be much more specific for that, it doesn't read outback challenge.

Would definately depend on the competition. Not a problem for any of the rock crawling comps or Nissan trias or whatever and thats why there is diff classes for diff mods.

Kid , Under the ccda rules which will slip into every comp in the near future , If you had a wheelbase increase of Up to 50mm it would place you depending on other mods in there TROPHY class , More then 50 mm
and you would be competing in the Challenge class, Which is the Most open class they have .

You can enter the Ateco, The Outback Challenge, & the Xtreme Challenges with an altered Wheelbase, the limit applies to tyre sizes in these events.

I hope that this isnt the case because there will be a lot of vehicles out there that wont be able to compete any more.

There is not one comp vehicle in our club that can run at Willoglen this year because they are suposabely(spelling??) runing under ccda rules.

We read the vehicle rules and even tho we can put smaller tyres on, the mods put us out.

No coil or coilover conversions, no 5link fronts or 3 or 4link rears (unless standard for the vehicle) no shock mount changes and no torque arms on sprung over vehicles). This eliminates a heap of cars out there.

I hope that as you say, all comps will be these rules, that is not the case or these rules definately need some ammending soon.
