Where to get tailshaft/uni components?

Post by 77F1004WD »

I see in the US they have shops like 'high angle driveline'etc, that sell serious uni's/yokes/cv's etc, is there any shops that specialise in 4WD tailshaft components?
Below is a pic of my truck.

I only just got the car back last week after getting all the exh manifolds done, i have 'gas research' LPG set-up on the car, with a MSD controlling the spark. There will be no Petrol on the car at all.
Both the turbo and intercooler are rated at 1000HP, the heads flow just on 500HP aspirated, so achieving 800Hp should be no problems at all.

Hoping to have it completed this side of christmas.......

There is a place in sydney called Driveline Engineering. Ask for a Bloke called Daniel (Yikes, I don't have the number).

But they have developed some serious components for high angle driveline applications. That kind of shite is expensive, but their DC shafts are operable up to 45 degrees.

I am pretty sure that bloke could put you intouch with someone... :?

Soft........NOT!

What front axle are you running? Dana, or one of those twin beam things?

Stocko solid dana 44 ATM, i will either put 35 spline axles in it with a truetrac or possibly put a Dana 60 in it.
9 inch rear of course and NP 205 transfer, i'm trying to source a NP203 planatery unit so i can double my gear reduction. I'll twin stick the 205 so i can select just front wheel drive if required (for sharper steering).
