Those of you that have used Airlockers, can you switch an Airlocker on when at full steering lock?
Just wondering, because if it is not possible, then it adds another item to the disadvantage list when compared to the automatic locker.

Can you switch an Airlocker on when at full steering lock?

he means, that some locker information states wheels must be in straight ahead position, before engaging...but mine is welded and I don't know the answer to his question. christover

I'm not attempting to knock the Airlocker, but just curious of their operation. I think each type of locker has an ideal situation and I'm just wondering whether this may be an Airlocker weakness.

You turn either fr or rr (bypass switch installed for front) lockers on at any time.
It is wise not to be at full lock and moving whilst you engage the front (It complains bitterly) if the surface is anything but loose. But then why would you engaged them in high traction situations?
When you have 2 airlockers you get quite adept at flicking the front in and out whilst climbing steering etc..
I mounted a secondary switch for my front locker in the horn assembly of my steering wheel so i don't have to take my hands off the wheel to enaged/disengage. I pulled the stereo switches out of a XR6 steering wheel, makes life a lot easier
