i have an 85 hilux with superior engineering shakle with longer springs im thinking on what to do for more travel both ways i have to make traling arm an a a frame have you hered of dangeres dave and his coil rear end i heard it work good
That dangerous bloke you speak of is me. You wouldn't happen to have a blue single cab on 35" BFGs that is currently sitting in the 4x4 engineering workshop would you?
Anyway, I run a coil setup restrained at both ends. It is basically a regular "double triangulated" 4-link rear suspension with long links. It does work really well I feel both in terms of overall flexibility as well as controlablility. I would never consider a buggy leaf setup personally. Flex is over-rated.
