I've had a wave of water come up over the bonnet and up to the bottom of the windscreen with no snorkle- not a problem!

The factory filter set up is actually quite good.

snork

Post by lowndsie »

well my snorkel was made up for me this morning. w00t

it was done through windsor exhaust who did croz's. They were very helpful and in my opinion did a top job....

I have to admit that when they drilled the hole, i flinched and felt a little dizzy. But once it was done i cope ok

After they drilled the hole they measured up which bends should go where and made up the brackets so that everything was aligned properly.

When i took it home, i cleaned up the burn marks from the welding and cleaned the whole thing with turps. Just finished putting a coat of hammer paint on it (thanx croz) and when it's dry, it'll cop another one.

Using some pinch weld rubber (thanx again croz) to line the two holes to stop any rattles.

As you can tell im very excited bout the whole thing. I'm not going to post any pix of the process cause it's pretty much the same a croz's. although i will post a pic of the completed job soon.
