Just a couple.
Our camp on Sat and Sun morning. We had about 5" of powder snow on Saturday.
A pic of Critta, mick drove it with no doors, no wipers and no heater but he did have a freezer suit on so was probably warmer and drier than anyone else. unfortunately he lost all electrical power before he had a real chance to play but it was breaking snow like no ones business

fawk that, last time we camped in the snow it took us 4 hrs to get the cars running
looks fun though seeing as i'm sitting here in a shirt and shorts

4 hours??? where they diesals?? I dont think any of us had problems starting, (exept for those that left thier accesories turned on)

yes diesels. but it was on the 6th of DECEMBER! which is supposed to be summer, not farking winter with a foot of snow drop
the servo didn't have alpine diesel in the middle of summer for some strange reason
ended up putting gas cookers under the tanks and heating up jerry cans of diesel near a fire to get em going

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA while you were all freezing ur arses off down there we were enjoying 30c temperatures at landcruiser park, seriously bugger camping in tents in the snow

It actually isn't that bad as you are properly prepared and once in your tent it isn't too bad as the snow tends to insulate the tent. i have been way colder in the middle of summer camping in the high country.
It is a strange thing i admit, most people just can't believe that we do it but i like the fact that hardly anyone does it. i don't know of another 4wd group that do it and have only heard of a few other groups who stay overnight in the snow but they do it in the Alpine huts
