X-Factor, can you please let whoever is organising the 'B' team know that, September 1st is our cut off date for cancelling a team and get their entry money back? This is only a few days away, so if they are going to pull out, they really should do it before then.
I really need to know what they are doing, as I have other teams that are ready to go, and waiting for a place to come up. For instance, the Sunshine Coast club called me a few months ago, and said they definately had one team that wanted in.
I really hope your 'B' team doesn't have to pull out, because I am sure they would be a competative team. But, if they do need to, I need to know as soon as possible.

Thanks mate, can you please keep me posted?

You're a champ!!

X-Factor - Thanks dude. That's awesome.

Nat34 - Yep, got ya down. Thanks for helping out. If you know of anyone else that wants to help, let me know. I mean anyone. Even if they have no experience, as we are holding an officials training day prior to the event.

We'll probably have the official's day a couple of weeks before the Challenge. It's only really for the new guys. It's just to explain what to expect mate.

Yep, that was Chris' new ute I was in. I'm taking it to Fraser next week. :P

One of our team has had to drop out for this event so we have a space available in our team if anyone is interested. Give me a call on 0413 534 732 if interested.

Hey guys, if anyone can help out Steve, please do. I have personally seen the rest of the cars in this team in action, and they are truly a contender for the title. I really don't want to see these guys pull out because they can't get 1 car. C'mon guys, help them out if you can.

CALLING ALL COMPETITORS!!!!

A reminder, that scrutineering is between 6:30am and 7:30am on saturday the 16th of October. All vehicles in all teams MUST be present for the start of scrutineering. That means that everybody must be there by 6:30am at the latest.

I would suggest everybody make their way out to Black Duck on the Friday night, to make sure thier team is ready for scrutineering. No exceptions made.

No worries.

That's what this sport is all about. We'd rather do all we can to get a fellow competitor going again, so we can beat his ass fair and square!!
No seriously, it's good to hear the Nissan boys are all systems go again.

***UPDATE***

OK guys. Things just got a little more serious at the pointy end of the competition. EFS has just thrown their weight behind the competition, and have thrown up a pretty damn good first prize. I can't say what it is, but trust me, it's worth going hard for!!!!

Marshy, what is the ruling on tracked vehicles, or more like a half track really? It should be OK if it is transport department/Australian Army legal, yeah?

Also does the rear wheel steer rule come into play if there are two front steering axles?

We will also need an area to set up a refueling station and will need enough room to set-up at least 600 litres of Diesel (three 44 gallon drums). The drums are on special pallets to catch any spillage and all safety regs have been complied with.

Let me know if there are any dramas.

Huh?

Mate, I'll need to see the vehicle. Who has this? Aren't you in with Phil? Last time I checked, which was only on Thursday, Bob the Builder was still a Suzuki!!!!
As far as the diesel is concerned, I can't see a problem with setting them up wherever you want, so long as they are not in anyone's way.

I have to admit mate, you have me very intrigued about this. Obviously, your team has changed line up since the form was handed in. I will need to know a bit more about this "half track" thing before I can approve or disapprove it. You know how it goes.

Thanks mate.

Thanks Brett. When can I pick them up?

If you PM me your address, and the exact amount I owe you, I will come and get them sometime this week. I will get a cheque made out, and I'll give you that when I get the stickers.

Thanks mate.

Haven't taken delivery yet. If I get it it will be last minute. Basically Mercedes, one of two bought in the Middle East and modified by Aussie SAS. I intend on removing the tracks but would have fun getting hold of tyres and rims before the challenge.
