petrol tank bash plates available melb area

Post by built4thrashing »

Just testing the water to see if anyone would be interested in getting a bashplate for their sierra. i had one made a while ago and it works well. They will cost about $75 each, depending on quantity to be made, and are made of 3mm thick steel plate. available to melbourne only ( too heavy and bulky to ship)

Post any questions in the post so we can share the details.

I got the price back today. I have to get 10 made and they will cost $100 each. I don't know how they do it that cheap in mexico unless they are different to what I am getting made.

But Sams will have a cool sticker.

As Muppet Man said, Sam has to make a $$$ but also needs to cover his time arranging, selling and designing the product.

and in this sue happy world, he needs to add a million bucks, just to cover insurance, too.....also, I imagine Sam supplies a warrantee on his products, that needs to be factored in to the price. christover

im happy to charge the same but i dont have all the overheads to pay for like sam. Another factor is that the company i work for gets alot of stuff made by the metal shop and gives us really good prices. the ones im getting made are un painted slat steel sheet 3mm thick. they bolt in 4 places ( 3 on the tank mounts and the 1 just to the tank).

had mine bent (they hid the cost in a work job) and it works quite well. it will support the weight of the car without bending. sorry no pics
