TRACTION CONTROLL
No if one wheel is in the air and is spinning then the TC will basically applly the brake until it stops and the grounded wheel starts to drive so in an instance like that then I guess it will put close to 100% drive through the stationary wheel only for a split second though just long enough for the wheel speeds to match.

I assume like all ETC that even the Haultech will rob the vehicle of momentum in slippery conditions where a bit of speed is needed like mud and sand. But i reckon in those cases just turn it off. But we will see

Have had mine burried in mud and it still work perfectly.
As it is adj as to how quick it reacts then momentum is kept to a maximium.

i may be blind but does it say there is a warrantee? my best bet is they will offer some sort of warrantee. thought this was a resonable question. be it a limited warrantee or at least some good back up service ie. some help over the phone.

Yes it can and Sand is not ususally a problem as both wheels are usually spinning. I have had it enabled on the sand on a number of trips without any problems

How much do you reckon it cost to develop this product ? I think $2.5K both ends is cheap - I know the time an effort that went and continues to go into this product.
One of the resons that this is so much better than
factory traction control is the quality and accuracy of the components used. Most ABS sensors are useless below 6Km/h - bit useless for off road use, the sensors that run Haultech ETC probably cost 10 times more than the cost of an abs sensor and is accurate to some ridiculiously slow speed which is why can be so effective in off road/rutted/rocky terrain
I have had Haultech ETC on two rangies - first my 2 door and now on my 91 4 door for nearly 2 years without incident. My problems have been as follows,
1. Failed air compressor ( a dodgy one that I supplied $99 repco version)
Once I installed the recommeded compressor it has been as good as gold.
I think you need to consider the costs associated with a product like this, personally I think they could realistically charge $2K each end
and it would still be great value because I can run it with 245/75/16 MTRs with 10 spine rover axles - try that with a locker

There are some 4WD's on the market that you can't get diff locks for.
I can't get lockers for my feroza so what am I going 2 do 2 get maximum traction. I don't like the idea of getting my diffs welded up so the next best thing is the traction control that Sam (strange rover) and sam (overkill) are selling
I've seen the Haultech traction control in action at serveral comps now and am very impressed with how it works
