Wheel alignment with lift.

Post by Croz »

I have been putting this off for a while now but I am finally going to get my front aligned now that the lift is all done. Has anyone had any probs getting this done before with the caster and camber being wrong on the lifted IFS?

I ran into probs on my last car cos it was lowered and nobody could get the angles right... are the Ferozas fully adjustable?

Do I need any fancy bits?

Never had a problem in getting Ferocious aligned but kept getting told to fit a steering damper..... I just enjoyed the fact that the car drove itself half the time.... :D :D :D

The front camber can be changed by inserting / removing shims. If you look in the engine bay you'll see them inserted somewhere near where the wishbones bolt on the chassis IIRC.

Thanks guys, I was just concerned that I might have to get a caster kit or something... I have booked it in for tuesday with a mate at BJ's. He's even gonna pick it up and drop it off for me!! Thats service!

It'll be nice, its got a wicked pull to the left, probably to do with the ding in the left rim after driving it into a rut... hard... hope they can fix it!

Hey Paul, can we get a foto of the rangie with the new bar???
