Nissan Trials

Post by Old Yella »

I was looking on the Nissan Patrol Club website, applications need to be in before 30th September .The only changes I could see were helmets and window nets/wrist restraints.

So who on the board is competing this year ;)

Does the rule for window nets and wrist restraints and helmets etc. go also for entrants in standard class?

I want to see you there Screwy... with the old girl towing your rig all the way up Putty rd :D

Seriously though, you had better sort out the window nets as it will apply for you too!

What u described is exactly whats gonna happen, but not at this years Nissan Trials, it will happen next year. My truck wont be fully ready by then, at least if it is i wont have much experiance driving a rig that modded and wont be ready to compete it.

What i am seriously thinking about doing is running your old rig in standard class.
My new club is probably gonna compete in this years Trials and they will be short for cars so i will probably run, but in ur old rig in standard.
What do ya think about that? :D
Its gonna get put to good use  Promise, cant get too much dinted than it is in those quarters.... ;)
Will be fun if it goes ahead.

I thought about that seriously too, because when I had the MQ I also had a daily driver.

Those rear 1/4's were repaired many times, but I found if they were pushed up inside the line of the body it just saved them getting wacked next time.

I also think it would be pretty full on driving two cars on the weekend

no, yours is my daily driver.
I will run it in std class at this Nissan trials and only this one. Next year i will run my main offroader in the comps.
If i break something ( needs abit of work before then ) i have my big rig to run around in for a few days if i have to...

MUD080 and the guy who came second in standard class last year are both in the OZ Rockcrawlers.
The guy that came second was driving a red MQ shorty.
