Just a thought, I would love to lift my troopy, you see the shorties lifted all the time, but not troopies.
Mate has a shortie and he reckons I could run 40 inch tyres, most people state that the motor will not turn them (2F) but he reckons sure, it will just go a bit slower.
Who needs speed??
So, what are 40 inch tyres and rims to suit worth, would need some grip for bush work.
Also, how high would I need to lift it, should it be a body lift or suspension lift or both??
And what would this lift cost me, I am a lover, not a mechanic so I would have to get someone to do it.
Anyone got any good pics of troopies lifted??

as a budget alternative, you could get some 6.2"1 diff gears from Stout utes, this give you equivalent gearing to the transfer crawlers. diffs can be had for under $100 from wreckers sometimes so it can be a cheap swap if you know what you're doing.
all that said, 40" tyres is a big ask for a 40 series troopy, up to 35 - 36" is ok and you really don't need anything larger than that to drive some really crazy stuff.
Free air locker to the first 20 callers!
Mines running 37"s....to run 40"s you'll need a SOA (SOA will cost a bit. Ring around for prices) and to cut the lip off the edge of the front guards so they wont eat your tires. The rear guars will need major cutting but its very do-able. You WILL need crawler gears ($1500ish).
