Has anyone heard of anyone doing this? It seems logical (allowing for Toyotas gearboxes!) but I cant find anything on this conversion. If it exists, or even if it could be done.

Wouldn't that mean an engine to tranny adaptor (ie new bellhousing) and an auto to transfer adaptor ?
Would cost a lot and be a pain to work with, may also need to change tail shaft length as well.

Speak to Marks Adaptors in Melb....

I have their MFK917 conversion from TH700R4 to Landcruiser split transfer case in my Bundera.... works great!! (Did not have to worry about an adaptor for the motor end as my Bundera is fitted with en EFI 304)....

Marks don't have your particular conversion listed on their website, however I have found them to be excellent to deal with.... worth a try....

They can be contacted on 03 9706 7669.... or via their website http://www.marks4wd.com.... or at the factory 22 Sinclair Rd - Dandenong - Vic - 3175.

Hope this helps....
Look at that.... it does fit!
