does anyone know of any good engineers on the sunshine coast or north brisbane to get a certificate done?

any idea what they charge?

depends on what you want done

Modification rules and charges have no preset costings set by the DOT unlike the safety certificates

Some people charge you per mod to be complicanced
some charge full price for the first and 15-20 bucks per mod after that, some charge you well above and beyond for the sheer fact they are putting pen to paper and expose themselves to litigation..

I've worked at a couple of mod stations and they all vary in price and service..

I doubt whether killalux whill be able to get those rear springs engineered with those homebuilt hangers - opinions punchy?

I havent actually got this guy to certify anything that I have done but I was in the process of doing so.

He was going to certifty my bobtailed tray back range rover with the d44s under it (but then I cut it all up and built something different). He was very realistic and nothing much seemed too impossible which is all you can ask for in a engineer IMO.

Spoke to him about certifying a rover body swap onto a rangie chassis and he thought that was simple to do also.

This is the guy that certified the Mercedies body onto a stretched international scout chassis and running gear thats getting around brisbane.

So just call him and tell him exactly what you want to do or have done cause nothing is beyond him.

ring this guy and see what can be done as well..
all the hot rodders talk about him...he might be lax

he does lots of mofified car stuff so anything is possible. He'll aprasie each vehicle as it comes and not just put them all into the same ideal of a shitbox and can it.
