Hi guys,
I just bought a 6.2 diesel engine V8, with auto
gearbox. I will put it into a GQ LWB with TD42 engine
manual.;-)))))
I need your help:
- what tricky things should I expect when I'll start
the swap (next week)?
- is there enough space to accomodate it (brake pump,
baterries, etc)?
- should I manufacture a new gearbox crossmemeber or I
can use the existing one?
- the fuel lines are big enough or I should replace
its with a bigger diameter?
- the exhaust manifold: has enough space or I have to
manufacture new ones?
- the drive shafts I know I have to replace its.
Any advice will be highly appreciated.
Gabriel

Hey Gab.. long time no hear.
I think its all too hard, so send me the motor
There have been a few threads on this in the past here, with a dude in Qld that does these conversions on the forum.
Maybe get Carlton to move this to the Technical forum for more exposure.
good luck.
