Got ball joints, pitman arm and idler from here recently and they have been considerably cheaper then other daihatsu dealers in sydney. I saved over $50 on the set of front lower ball joints as opposed to the prices wanted by Chatswood Daihatsu, and they were also cheaper than Lincorp. They were cheaper by at least $20 on all the other parts I ordered.

CLUTCH:

I spoke to the guy there (who now knows me by name :roll: ) today about a clutch that I am gonna have to get sooner or later, and he said he can do genuine clutch kit for $250.00. He said it was likely to be a daikin in a daihatsu box, but want sure.

Does anyone know of the specs on each and if they are the same? Has anyone fitted a genuine and a daikin and can compare???

try a daihatsu dealer i got 2 clutches from them on different occasions for $185. and were genuin dai items.
1999 SQ625 Manual Grand Vitara. Lifted, Twin Locked, 31' Extremes, dual Batteries, Winch.
Lots of custom gear as I cant afford the proper stuff.

I am not interested in where to buy a clutch, I am asking if anyone has had experience with both the units I outlined.

As for Daihatsu dealers, I wont be going near them anymore for parts based on the pricing scales i have seen over the past few weeks.
