Fuel Solenoid

Post by halminator »

I have a dual fuel supply setup in the FJ40 with a manual lever to select either fuel tank.
What i want is to replace the manual lever with a solenoid. What I'm thinking is that a six port solenoid would do the trick, with two inlet and two returns for each tank.
Has anyone have a similar setup and if so, where can i get a suitable solenoid to do the trick?

If you are talking a pull cable, like an Impco ,you will still need to open the venturi.

no cable involved - just a simple lever that looks like a overgrown wing nut.
